The New Seiko Presage Style60's
The New Seiko Presage Style60's
Seiko Presage welcomes a new series that captures the vintage feel of a Seiko milestone watch combined with the traditional watchmaking skills for which the Presage collection is renowned.
The new Seiko Presage "Style60's" series design takes its inspiration from the Crown Chronograph introduced in 1964. With contemporary earth tone colors, the watches combine the vintage design of the 1964 creation with contemporary elements to create a series with a retro feel perfect for modern times.
1964 Crown Chronograph
The Crown Chronograph was Seiko's and Japan's first wristwatch equipped with a stopwatch function. The watch had several new revolutionary functions and marked the beginning of Seiko's chronograph wristwatch manufacturing.
Style
The new series incorporates the Crown Chronograph's characteristic box-shaped glass, faceted indexes, and sharply shaped hand designs. The overall soft feel of the watches creates a vintage 60s look.
The inner circular area of the dial and the outer area with indexes are applied different finishing techniques, creating enhanced legibility, and a warm vintage feel with varying expressions depending on the angle of view.
Case Design
The gently rounded case is slightly slanted inward to ensure comfort on the wrist. The lugs are carefully polished to a mirror finish giving the watches a sharpness to their overall calm and gentle appearance, creating the perfect balance of modern and vintage.
Lumibrite
The new series offers watches with dials in various colors; black, brown, ivory, and earth tones colors of blue and green reminiscent of the 60’s trends. In some models*, the lumibrite has a slightly faded color to enhance the vintage feel.

Nylon Strap
For the first time, Seiko Presage offers new creations with nylon straps that enhance the 60’s style. The two watches presented with nylon straps have black and brown dials that enhance the Style60's vintage feel.
Date Display
While the original Crown Chronograph did not incorporate a date window, the series offers new creations with a calendar function.
Open Heart
In addition, the series offers watches with a skeletonized design at the 9 o'clock position on the dial. Also known as an open-heart dial, the movement's balance, referred to as the "heart" of the movement, is seen in motion when worn.
