In a celebration of the work of master animator, Hayao Miyazaki, at the world-renowned Studio Ghibli, Presage broadens its scope to encompass contemporary Japanese art with this Limited Edition timepiece based on the classic character of Porco Rosso, a 1920s aviator ' and pig ' dedicated to protecting the skies over the Adriatic. Available only in a single run of 500, this unique timepiece includes a caseback engraved with the serial number as well as the image of the daring Porco Rosso and his motto 'A pig that does not fly is just a pig,' in Italian, with the name of his plane, Savoia S-21 on the case side. The red, white and green Italian colors appear on the white enamel dial, and as contrast stitching on the red crocodile strap. With the latest technology, this exceptional timepiece is powered by a Seiko Spring Drive movement, combining a 30-jewel automatic movement with a quartz regulator for accuracy to +/- 1 second per day, +/- 15 seconds per month. With a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, the movement can be wound manually or automatically. The dial includes a power reserve indicator and date calendar, and is topped by a dual-curved sapphire crystal with super-clear coating.
