Official description

Designed for those who treat life as the ultimate adventure, the Seiko Prospex line meets every challenge with technological excellence and style. Part of a rich legacy of innovation in high-intensity timekeeping, Prospex continues to celebrate a long history of sports watch excellence with recreations and reinterpretations of landmark achievements. From the dramatic Black Series, this distinctive Limited Edition, available only a controlled production run of 5,500, reimagines Seiko's landmark 1968 diver's watch with updated technology and sleeker lines for versatile wear. This masterfully updated design is crafted of stainless steel with black hard coating, and includes a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, black uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel, and screwdown crown and caseback, as well as a brown high-intensity "Seichu" fabric strap, made in Japan with superior flexibility, but the strength necessary for diving, plus an additional black silicone strap. With orange accents to evoke the early dawn light on the ocean, the black dial features a date calendar and LumiBrite hands and markers. Following ISO standards for scuba diving to depths of up to 200 meters, this exceptional watch is powered by a 24-jewel automatic movement, which beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, and offers manual winding capability. Packaged in a Limited Edition collectors' box. 200m Water Resistant.
